IIO has more than 8 years of direct grant program management experience, delivering the Ontario Research and Development Challenge Fund and the Ontario Innovation Trust. Together these programs have provided over $1.3 billion of public funds to Ontario University and College researchers in support of over 1500 research projects.  Managing these Programs has given IIO the comprehensive understanding of mandate, requirements, processes and stakeholders needed for the effective management of research funds.
