Background and Evolution
IIO was established in 2000 as a not-for-profit organization to provide grant management services and shared administrative support to the Ontario Innovation Trust and the Ontario Research and Development Challenge Fund. Since its inception, IIO has broadened and extended its services to other non-profit organizations, with a particular focus on the science and technology sector.
